The premature death of this amiable young lady will long be regretted. Nature had given her an engaging form and an excellent understanding, and had formed her heart for the reception of the finest impressions of virtue. Her manners and conversation were easy, mild and unaffected, receiving their cast from the general benevolence of her disposition and the calm and placid tenor of her temper?May 21st 1808CJAt Dornock on Tuesday 17th current, George Lowther Esq sen, in the 83rd year of his age. He gained an humble but honest independence as tenant of the small farm of Butterhill, which has been occupied by him and his ancestors for nearly two centuries.
